Most of the Alzheimer’s Association’s funding comes from generous individuals, companies and organizations in our community. You can make a general donation, a tribute/memorial donation to honor someone, or a monthly gift. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of people facing Alzheimer’s and related diseases and support the much needed research to improve treatment, care and prevention.
Today, an estimated 5.4 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease, and nearly 50 percent of those 85 years old and older are affected. Over 69,000 people are affected in Iowa alone.
