What is the Walk to End Alzheimer's^®

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is our national signature event and brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who want to make a difference. Since 1989, the Walk to End Alzheimer's has raised more than $300 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease. In 2012 participants raised over $335,000 to fund Alzheimer's care, support and research programs. Join the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's and unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions. With more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's, and 15.2 million more serving as caregivers, the time to act is now.

The Alzheimer's Association East Central Iowa Chapter hosts four Walks in our chapter territory. For specific information on each of our Walks, please click the link to the location of your interest.
