Alzheimer's Association Comfort Zone™, powered by Omnilink, is a new Web-based location management service that can help keep a person with Alzheimer’s safer, active and independent. An exciting step forward in Alzheimer safety choices, Comfort Zone tracks the individual’s movements through preset safety zones, and users are notified if the person leaves a zone.

Study: Understanding Alzheimer reality helps treatment decisions

A new study suggests that family members of someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia who understand and accept that Alzheimer’s is a progressive, fatal disease are less likely to subject their loved one to aggressive treatments that cannot help them.
