June Barnard first attended the Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala in 2010. At the event, her husband Ronald accepted the Civic Award on behalf of The Walter S. and Lucienne Driskill Foundation. She enjoyed the experience so much that she joined the Gala Steering Committee that evening. June is a born leader and volunteered to chair the Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala in 2011 and 2012. Through her leadership, guidance and commitment, last year’s gala saw increased revenue and attendance. June is dedicated to making the 25th annual gala an elegant, moving, entertaining and successful evening for the Alzheimer’s Association and guests.
