The Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter dedicates donations to providing information, support, & services for the more than 161,000 Georgians affected by Alzheimer’s in the 159 counties we serve. We also provide information on living a brain-healthy lifestyle and research into the cause, treatments, preventions, and cure for Alzheimer’s.
To help families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, we offer our 24-hour Helpline (800.272.3900); support groups for people to share concerns and receive support; educational programs and workshops for those affected by Alzheimer’s, the public, and health professionals; and Safe Return to help find people with memory problems who wander and become lost. We also advocate for quality dementia care and services, and funding for public programs serving people with dementia and funding to accelerate the pace of promising research.
