The Early Stage Lecture Series is designed for persons experiencing early stage memory loss due to Alzheimer's disease or another related dementia, as well as their primary care partners.  This is a time limited-educational discussion group.  By means of peer support and group leader facilitation, participants will learn more about their diagnosis and will be provided with coping strategies and resources to assist in planning for their futures.  Each session will begin with an educational discussion followed by a support group for both the primary care partners and the individual with memory loss.  Topics discussed include an overview on Alzheimer's disease and dementia, legal and financial issues, living a brain-health lifestyle, and more.

Early Stage Memory Loss Lecture Series:

  • Wednesdays from January 18th until February 22nd at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, from 11:00am - 1:00 pm.  Pre-registration required; Must register by January 9th due to limited space.  Brochure
