WHAT IS BLONDES VS. BRUNETTES

Players register to play, practice, and raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.  Whether you’re blonde or brunette – or somewhere in between – you can team up to help end Alzheimer’s!  Here's how it works:

  1. Blonde or brunette? Sign up for the team that reflects the shade you’re sporting. Red head? You’re a free agent and get to choose the team you'd like to represent!

  2. Create your own fundraising web site and customize it with photos and a story or personal message.

  3. All participants are required to fundraise a minimum of $250, but are encouraged to set your goal higher! Send e-mails to friends, family and co-workers asking them to donate to your campaign.

  4. Practice makes perfect! All players will attend team practices during the weeks prior to game day!

  5. Rally your fans! Let your donors know that with a minimum donation of $20 they will receive a ticket to the game.

  6. Get ready to rumble! Time to take on the opposition and celebrate the difference you are making in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED

There are several ways to be involved which require a wide range of time and commitment:

For the Ladies:

Player – We ask that you pledge to raise $250 for our cause.  You will also need to be available to attend the majority of the Team practices.

For the Gentlemen:

Coach – We ask that you pledge to raise $250 for the cause.  You will also need to be available to attend the majority of the Team practices.

For Everyone:

Volunteer – We need volunteers to assist with both pre-event needs, as well as the day of the event.   Volunteers assisting on game day cannot also play/coach.  We ask that you pledge to raise $250 for the cause.

Fundraising Only – If you prefer to relax in the stands, or perhaps can't attend this year, we still need participants out in the community raising awareness about this disease and requesting financial support.   We ask that you pledge to raise $250 for the cause.
