Strike out Alzheimer's with the Springfield Cardinals - August 21st
This annual awareness night with the Springfield Cardinals is fun for the entire family. With a pre-party, the opportunity to walk the field before the game and watching baseball with hundreds of fellow Alzheimer's Association supporters, this event is a favorite! Proceeds from this event benefit Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Tickets cost just $10, specially designed T-Shirts (design coming soon) are $15 each or just $10 when you buy with a ticket. To benefit the Alzheimer's Association, tickets must be purchased from the Association or a Walk to End Alzheimer's team.
Tigers on the Prowl
The Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter is pleased to have been selected for this year's Tigers on the Prowl. Hosted by Ken & Melissa Anderson, Tigers on the Prowl involves multiple local organizations seeking support for their Tiger. The organization with the most "votes" wins additional support. Votes are made by donating. The Alzheimer's Association entry is sponsored by Provision Living.

KOMU 8 Presented The Roast of Bob Gerding
KOMU partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter to present the 11th Annual Roast. This annual fundraising event took place on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Columbia, Missouri and raised over $63,000 this year. For more information check out our chapter news page! Local accountant Bob Gerding agreed to take the hot seat and was the perfect target given his local, stellar reputation and his circle of influence in business, civic activities and the community-at-large.
The Longest Day
The Longest Day is a team event to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association®. Held annually on the summer solstice, the duration of this sunrise-to-sunset event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers. Teams are encouraged to create their own experience as they fundraise and participate in an activity they love to honor someone facing the disease. Learn more here!
For the 2015 season we had 31 teams in the Greater Missouri Chapter for The Longest Day. Teams participated in activities including bridge, planting flowers, NuStepping, Rocking with Ellen, birthday parties, bake sales, reading and so much more! Find out more about what teams have done in the Ozarks and in Mid-Missouri. There is still time to support these team's efforts!

Panera Bread Night in Springfield - July 24th
The Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter and Panera Bread partnered to raise over $1,000 through an awareness night featuring live music, a bucket raffle, a parking lot party and more. Joined by the Y.E.S. Troupe from the Springfield Little Theater and Captain America and Batman, the evening was fun and successful. Both Panera and the Alzheimer's Association look forward to making this an annual event.
