Greater Missouri Support Groups

When a loved one has Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia, many family members take on the challenging - and at times, overwhelming - task of caregiving, and too much stress may be harmful to the caregiver. To help ease the burden, the Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter offers peer or professionally led caregiver support groups, which provide caregivers the opportunity to share their experiences with each other.

Additionally, the Greater Missouri Chapter hosts specialized support groups for those seeking information on a specific topic, including caring for a parent, younger-onset Alzheimer's and early-stage Alzheimer's.

All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. Attendance is free, and new members are always welcome.

Meetings are cancelled if the public schools close due to weather.
