THANK YOU!
After 10 years of co-chairing the Hastings Walk To End Alzheimer's, Dianne Atchity and Karen Hansen have stepped down. It is with deep appreciation and gratitude as we thank them for their tireless effort and commitment to the families impacted by Alzheimer's and the Great Plains Chapter. Under their leadership the Hastings walks raised over $57,000. These funds have helped provide direct services to individuals through support groups, care consultations, respite funds, helpline support, education sessions, advocacy efforts and more. On behalf of all of us at the Great Plains Chapter, Thank You Dianne and Karen for your tremendous work. What a difference you have made!!

The Great Plains Chapter held 22 Walks in Nebraska and Wyoming communities. Each walk site had a group of caring community members who worked together to make the walks successful. Special thanks go to the event chair person(s) who scheduled, organized, and carried out these fundraising events to help the Alzheimer's Association meet the needs of those we serve.
We also want to recognize our sponsors for their contributions. Communities both large and small participate in Walks and no matter the size of the business OR the community, the generosity and charitable gifts and support continue to grow. We truly appreciate each and every contribution!
