Memory Walk, nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is the Alzheimer's Association's signature nationwide fund-raising event. Each fall, tens of thousands of people walk together - including family members, friends, caregivers, community and business leaders - to help make a difference in the lives of people affected by Alzheimer's and to increase awareness of the disease and the courage of those facing its daily challenges.
Become part of the group of individuals, corporations and organizations that are proud to lead the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Enjoy entertainment, refreshments, and fun for the whole family. Form a team or walk alone. For more information, call 1-800-272-3900.

Why we must fight Alzheimer's disease…
• It is not a normal part of aging.• It is a devastating disorder of the brain that impairs memory, thinking and behavior ultimately leading to death.
• It affects an estimated 5.3 million Americans, 130,000 Virginians and 26,000 in the Chapter service area alone.
