     Working with your financial or legal advisor, you can make a legacy gift to support future activities of the Aloha Chapter part of your estate plans.  Contact our office for more information and suggested guidelines about this opportunity to help future generations of Hawaiians dealing with Alzheimer's disease.

Volunteer Your Time
     Every hour of office work that is donated by volunteers in our offices has a value that can be rededicated toward client services and program support instead of administrative and fundraising activities.  Volunteers have helped assemble mailings, set up tables and our auction at the annual Moonlight & Memories gala; organized the annual Memory Walks and provided daily administrative support.  Additionally, our support groups are organized and run by volunteer facilitators.

Kokua In Kind
     When someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, they are no longer able to drive their automobile.  Many families have turned to Kokua In Kind, an automobile donation organization to dispose of the vehicle AND make a donation to support the services of the Alzheimer's Association Aloha Chapter.  For more information, contact Kokua In Kind.

Organize a Team for the Walk To End Alzheimer's
     Our signature fundraising event nation-wide, the Walk to End Alzheimer's provides vital financial and public relations support for the Aloha Chapter.  State-wide, more than 1,800 friends walk to show their support of our activities.  Raising funds from their friends, colleagues and families, these participants provide priceless support and awareness of the fight against Alzheimer's disease.  Organizing your team helps leverage your donation and support.

Matching Gifts
     Many corporations will match gifts made by their employees to organizations like the Alzheimer's Association Aloha Chapter.  For more information on how to effectively DOUBLE your donation to the Chapter, contact your human resources office.  Once you complete your portion of the application, send it to us and we will process it to receive the matching gift.
