Remember Doc Buyers: His Journey Continues Through Us All

Join us on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the Coral Ballroom of the Hilton Hawaiian Village to honor the lifetime contributions of Doc Buyers. Held in conjunction with the International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease(ICAD) - where the world leaders in Alzheimer's research convene to present the latest scientific breakthroughs, this dinner will raise funds through a challenge grant established by Mr. Buyer's family members. The silent auction will focus on visual media, including some works by Mr. Buyers in addition to luminaries from around Hawaii.

Forget Me Not Days

Annually sponsored by Bankers Casualty and Life Insurance Company, this volunteer driven event raises awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association around O'ahu.  This year, on May 14 and 15, volunteers will collect donations and distribute materials at Long's Drug in Manoa, WalMart in town, Borders, Sports Authority and KMart in the Outlets at Waikele.

Your Event

Are your a member of a golf club, a deep-sea fishing club, a Hash of runners? Your organization could host an event to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association and be recognized for it's hard work in our publications and on-line.  For more information, contact our office.
