Helpline Manager
: Reporting to the Vice President of Programs and Services, the Helpline Manager is part of a team that provides high quality telephone support services to persons with dementia, caregivers and professionals. This position provides emotional support, general information and education about Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, and community and Alzheimer’s Association resources. Responsibilities include documentation, program evaluation, and managing and training of Helpline volunteers.

Manager, Office Services, E-strategies & Walk Support: The Alzheimer’s Association is the voluntary health agency dedicated to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through the advancement of research and to enhancing care and support services for all affected.  The Manager of Office & Volunteer Services supervises office volunteers and manages projects in the areas of chapter programs, development, finance and marketing.

Manager – The Longest Day & Special Events: The Alzheimer’s Association is the voluntary health agency dedicated to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through the advancement of research and to enhancing care and support services for all affected.  The Manager of The Longest Day (TLD) & Special Events reports to the VP of Marketing & Development, and directs the Alzheimer's Association's second signature event, The Longest Day. S/he develops the Athletes to End Alzheimer's fundraising program and provides support where necessary to third-party events.

Job Description

Care Consultant & Director of Early-Stage Services: The Care Consultant serves as a key staff person in the delivery of patient and family services. In addition to assessing family needs, helping secure services to support care at home, providing one-on-one education and guidance and coordinating or overseeing social engagement programs, the care consultant plays an important role in the chapter's education program, conducting caregiver training and in-services for home health agencies, residential care facilities and other groups. The person in this position also serves as the key staff person overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of early-stage services in the chapter territory, including early-stage support groups and joint enrichment services.

Community Engagement Manager & Manager, Putnam County Walk To End Alzheimer’s:  The Alzheimer’s Association is the voluntary health agency dedicated to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through the advancement of research and to enhancing care and support services for all affected.  The Association’s Hudson Valley Chapter has an opportunity for a Community Outreach Manager to help us reach our strategic goals.  This team member serves as a key staff person in marketing Alzheimer’s Association services and events to a broad range of audiences.
