However, those of us with firsthand experience know that it afftects children, grandchildren, infants, friends and entire communities. It is so important for people to realize that Alzheimer's disease and related disorders are not neatly encapsulated in a box labeled "elderly". This disease is far reaching and touches one in three people. Someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease every 70 seconds!
