The Alzheimer’s Project, HBO’s four-part documentary series about Alzheimer’s disease, was aired this spring to great acclaim. The series shows the way the disease impacts families and reports cutting-edge advancements in research. It’s not to be missed! The series will be screened this summer and fall throughout our chapter territory. Local Alzheimer’s Association Champions, Memory Walk committee volunteer/Memory Walk Team Captain & former Board Member of the Association’s Hudson Valley/Rockland/Westchester, NY Chapter, Marian Crapanzano, and her sister/fellow Memory Walk fundraiser, Pam Berger, will be walking the “MORE Half Marathon,” on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at New York’s Central Park.
