Walk to End Alzheimer's 2012: Gearing up for a great walk!

About the walk

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer'sTM is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research programs. Walk to End Alzheimer's is held annually in hundreds of communities nationwide, and is the event that unites the nation as an unstoppable force in Alzheimer's, raising more than $47 million for care and research in 2011.

The End of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.

In 2012, our chapter will be hosting 7 Walk events to benefit families and employers impacted by dementia in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties. Forming a team for the Walk can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer's. Together, as a team, you are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone.

If your company is eligible, complete and return your company's matching gift form, to your local office of the Alzheimer's Association, to ensure the matched gift will be credited to your personal or team fundraising efforts as quickly and as accurately as possible, when the match is received. Please remember to include the Chapter Name and Walk to End Alzheimer's Location (city, state), Walker/Team name and donor information on the matching gifts form. Once it is processed, the donation will be credited to the local Walk specified on the form. Please allow sufficient time to process as there may be delays due to a company's procedure for processing requests.

At the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, you are leading the way.
