The Alzheimer's Association International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease (Alzheimer's Association ICAD) is the world's premiere forum for reporting and discussion of groundbreaking research and information on the cause, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.  As a part of the Association's research program, Alzheimer's Association ICAD serves as a catalyst for generating new knowledge about Alzheimer's and fostering a vital, collegial research community.

News Media Registration

Online news media registration will open in February 2010.

Press registration for Alzheimer's Association ICAD is available only to credentialed reporters, writers or editors from recognized external print, broadcast, syndicated or online news organizations.  All other attendees should register through the standard online process.

Embargo policy

All materials to be presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease 2010 (Alzheimer's Association ICAD) are embargoed for publication and broadcast until the date and time of presentation at the conference, unless the Alzheimer's Association provides written notice of change of date and/or time in advance.

All news media representatives, scientists and their funders, and exhibitors/sponsors agree to be bound by the embargoes and release times stated on news releases and other news materials issued by Alzheimer's Association ICAD 2010.

If a reporter or news media outlet breaks an Alzheimer's Association ICAD 2010 news embargo, the Alzheimer's Association reserves the right to revoke their press access and credentials for the current event and future Alzheimer's Association conferences and events.
