Administrative team
Weekday Opportunities: Office administration (answering phones, preparing packets, labeling brochures, etc.), conference or event administration (copying, data entry, mailing preparations), conference or event coordination (registration check-in, set up, hospitality).

Helpline Team
Weekday Opportunities: Compile and mail information and referral packets to those who have contacted the Helpline. Chicago office only.

Memory Walk Team
Description: Plan and execute annual Memory Walks in our Chapter area. Assist with publicity, logistics, sponsorship, etc.
Weekday Opportunities: Plan and coordinate Memory Walk activities, preparation of packets, mailings and event related materials.
Weekend Opportunities: Day of event set-up, tear-down, parking control, registration, etc.

Representative/Speaker
Description: Represent and promote the Chapter at events, such as health fairs and workplace Employee Giving drives. Representatives distribute information, brochures and occasionally may give a short 3-5 minute talk about our work. Representatives will need access to a car and be willing and able to navigate local areas. Weekday and weekend opportunities available.

Special Events Teams

Lead Advocate
Description: Lead Advocates build effective personal and working relationships with targeted elected officials and serve as the primary contact between the Alzheimer’s Association in your local legislative district. Lead Advocates participate in advocacy training activities, write letters and make phone calls to local legislators to advocate for Alzheimer's issues and make 1-2 visits per year to your local legislator's office in your district. Lead Advocates are also expected to attend Alzheimer's Advocacy Day at the State Capitol.

Team CARE
Description: Team CARE (Conquering Alzheimer’s Running Endeavor) is the Alzheimer’s Association running team for the annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon and Chicago Distance Classic. Team CARE is marking its seventh year as a Charity Partner of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and its first year as a Bronze Charity Partner of the Chicago Distance Classic. This year, the Chicago Distance Classic will be on Sunday, August 10th. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be on Sunday, October 12th. Find out more about Team CARE.
