The following program is not an Alzheimer’s Association Professional Training Institute program.  We recommend it as Association staff has been involved in the planning, or will be involved in the implementation of this program.

This program for a multi-disciplinary audience provides up-to-date information and skill development about assessment, care, and management of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. A host of  experts will offer psychological, theoretical, social, legal and therapeutic perspectives that focus on practical application. Attendance at five (5) of the six (6) sessions plus completion of self-study exercises is required to earn the Certificate in Professional Continuing Education in Dementia Assessment, Care, and Management and college credit.
