UPDATE: The winners are in!

Because the Rock River was dangerously low over the weekend and had no current, the ducks did not launch. Instead, Petty Officer First Class Kevin Fahlund, serving as Master of Arms assigned to the USS Ronald Reagan, draw the winners in front of the Reagan statue in Dixon. The USS Reagan is a nuclear aircraft carrier whose home port is San Diego, Ca. Kevin and his wife, Susan, and daughter Reagan were in town specifically to join in the Reagan Day festivities honoring former President Ronald Reagan.

And without further ado, the winners are:
1st place ($1,000): Bob Oncken, Milledgeville
2nd place ($250): Clifford Rugh, Dixon
3rd place ($100): Matt Heartland Reality, Dixon
4th place ($50): D.L. Hughes Sr., Savanna
