The Central Illinois Chapter Alzheimer's Association shared it 2010 Public Policy Priorities at its 2010 Legislative Breakfast January 6. Rep. David Leitch and Rep. Donald Moffitt were in attendance as well as over 30 community residents who attended the 2-hour program. As the growing Alzheimer population continues to strain an already fragile healthcare system, the Chapter shared information with our legislators about the urgent need for adequate care and services, and the need to move the State’s Alzheimer’s Disease Plan forward.

All Stars for Alzheimer's
Five bands in three hours performed at the All Stars for Alzheimer's fundraiser in July. The crowd enjoyed a fantastic summer afternoon of music and the sites of the river. If you missed it this year you'll want to watch for it in 2010!

Powder Puff Flag Football Fundraiser
Hats off to area college students and young professionals who raised over $3,000 and played a very impressive game in our First Annual Blondes vs. Brunettes Powder Puff fundraiser in late April. We appreciate all of your energy and support for our cause. Funds raised help us continue providing programs and services to our area families dealing with Alzheimer's disease.
