Attend one or more of our special fundraising events!

The Alzheimer's Association plans several special fundraising events each year. Below you will find a listing and brief description of upcoming special events. Please click on an event title in the navigation bar to the left for more details regarding a specific event.

ALZStars: Run or walk May 4, 2013 in the 37th annual OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon or 5K with the best incentive to cross the finish line...when you join ALZStars, you're racing and raising money for the millions of Americans who are affected by Alzheimer's disease!

Reason to Hope: This one-hour breakfast event is designed to educate the community about the Alzheimer's Association and our efforts to fund vital research and critical support and education. The event is free to attend, but guests are given the opportunity to make a donation towards the sustainment and growth of local programs and services. In 2013, the Chapter will host a Reason to Hope event in Fort Wayne.

Blondes vs. Brunettes: A powder-puff football game held in the Summer, this event pits two teams of 30 against each other to reflect the age old rivalry between blondes and brunettes for a day of fun, philanthropy, and friendly competition.

The Skeet Thompson Memorial Golf Outing: In its 21st year, the Alzheimer's Association's annual golf outing will take place on June 18, 2013, at Eagle Creek Golf Club. What better way to raise money for Alzheimer's research than through a full day of golf, food and friends?

Chocolate Sunday: Chocolate Sunday is the annual gala hosted by the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter. The event, held in November, features live and silent auctions as well as a gourmet champagne brunch and updates on the latest Alzheimer's disease research.

Third Party Fundraisers: Call 800-272-3900 to learn more about upcoming third party fundraisers supporting the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter or to find out how to organize a Third Party Fundraiser of your own to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
