Please Join Us in Taking Steps to End Alzheimer’s disease.

Memory Walk, nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is the national signature fund-raising event of the Alzheimer's Association.  Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $225 million to help fight Alzheimer's and help those currently living with the disease. The Alzheimer's Association, the world leader in Alzheimer research and support, is advancing progress in prevention and cure and provides support for all those affected by Alzheimer's.

In 2007 the Greater Indiana Chapter raised more than $990,000 to support our work in Indiana.  Memory Walk plays a key role in funding chapter programs and services. Your support contributes to revolutionary science in the expanding field of Alzheimer research and directly affects the lives of individuals with the disease, their families, and their caregivers.

Millions of men, women, and children participated as walkers, team captains, sponsors, and volunteers this year.  Please plan to join us as a team captain or walk as an individual in one of our 2008 Memory Walks. Participants ask friends, family, business associates, and others to sponsor them by making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or to join their team.
