We're On a Winning Streak!

For four years now the annual Dealing with Alzheimer's Texas Hold'em Tournament in Lawrence has been dealt a winning hand. More than 100 players sat in for the 2009 tournament and helped the Heart of America Chapter raise $17,000.  Even though all those who attended enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres, silent auction and the tournament play, only one person could claim the winning hand. The 2009 winner, Chip Knapp, was awarded a Las Vegas package including roundtrip airfare and a 3-night hotel stay for two.
