The Alzheimer's Association - Heart of America Chapter is again joining efforts with the infamous Hospital Hill Run and the 2010 Hospital Hill ALZ Stars Team will be taking on the hills of downtown Kansas City while raising awareness and funds for this devastating disease.
The inaugural 2009 Team (a mix of both experienced and novice athletes) challenged themselves and were able to reach amazing accomplishments - one being raising more than $10,300. We're looking to grow our ALZ Stars Team (and fundraising total) this year and hope you will step out of your comfort zone and test your limits for a cause that needs ALZ Star support.
ALZ Stars Team Member Fundraising Requirements
The distance you choose to run will determine your required minimum fundraising amount. Please feel welcome to fundraise beyond the minimum.

Once you register, you will also receive a personal fundraising web page where your donors can make secure, online donations. You may customize your site with text and photos to tell your story about why you're fundraising for Alzheimer's, send emails to friends and family to garner support, and manage/track your progress. By sharing your story with a wide audience, you'll soon reach and exceed your fundraising goal. The registration deadline is May 15th.
