The Alzheimer's Association - Heart of America Chapter is proud to offer the Resource Library to anyone seeking information about Alzheimer's disease, caregiving techniques, coping skills, and many other important topics.
Individuals with dementia, their families, and their caregivers are all welcome to visit this informative Resource Library. It is located in the Main Chapter office at 3846 W. 75th Street in Prairie Village, KS and is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to a large inventory of books and videos (many of which can be checked out for your use), the Chapter offers individual information sheets (free of charge) on common topics of discussion. For access to downloadable pdf files of the individual information sheets or for a pdf of an Information Packet with the most requested Information Sheets, click on the links below.
New to the Library is the Alzheimer's Awareness Guide, a 32-page color magazine dedicated to bringing informative content to anyone interested in learning more about Alzheimer's disease, including: how it affects our lives, how to move forward after a diagnosis, younger-onset specifics, news on the research front, and testimonials from individuals with the disease or their caregivers.
