The Alzheimer's Association - Heart of America Chapter holds several community events designed to increase the awareness of Alzheimer's disease and raise funds to assist those who rely on Chapter services. You are invited and encouraged to participate in any of our special events. Do It Yourself Fundraisers Each year, individuals and organizations such as civic groups, social clubs, reataurants and businesses raise thousands of dollars for the Heart of America chapter. These events are called Do it Yourself (DIY) fundraisers and they are a great way to demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the Alzheimer's Association.
