Best Friends Day Center, located in Lexington, KY is an adult day program for persons who have an irreversible memory disorder and their families.  Their program provides the person with memory loss with a safe, creative environment, rich with therapeutic activities. In addition, they provide respite and peace of mind for the caregiver who is often on call 24 hours a day.

Best Friends Day Center is central Kentucky's only adult day center specializing in dementia care. It is a program directed by dedicated professionals and volunteers, trained in the "Best Friends Approach" an internationally recognized model of care.

AS THE GARDEN GROWS

 

 The Best Friends Day Center was awarded a $500 grant from the Lexington Council of Garden Clubs in May.  Carla and her family tilled and fertilized the garden and then with the help of everyone at Best Friends the garden was planted.  Please view our slide show and watch our garden grow.
