The Memory Café provides an informal setting for caregivers and their loved ones with memory problems to socialize and interact with other families and professionals, while sharing old and creating new experiences.

Memory Café

The Memory Café is a monthly social group comprised of people in the early stages of memory loss and their loved one(s). Its mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, engaging environment where people with memory loss and their care partners can laugh, learn and remain socially engaged with others traveling the same journey. It is a time and place where people can interact, find support, share concerns and celebrate without feeling embarrassed or misunderstood. It encourages friendship and acceptance.

The Memory Café takes place the second Wednesday of every month. For more information and to register, please call 1-800-272-3900.

Family Caregiver Workshop
This educational event is available to family and friend caregivers, bringing together experts in the field of dementia to discuss various topics of interest to caregivers. Demetra Antimisiaris, PharmD "Dr. Dee", with University Geriatrics will be discussing dementia medications, medication interactions and polypharmacy issues. There will also be time for those in attendance to ask Dr. Dee specific medication questions. She has requested that attendees come prepared with medication lists including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbals and other supplements along with a list of their questions. After Dr. Dee's presentation, other safety concerns related to dementia will be discussed.
