The video above (for the 2013 Mudd Sisters Great Steamboat Race Party) depicts just one of many Third Party Events held throughout our Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana chapter to help us raise awareness and funds. These events are conceived, hosted and run by very dedicated volunteers who want to go the extra mile for the Alzheimer’s Association. Their support is invaluable to us and to the 5.4 million Americans fighting this disease.

Mudd Sisters 9th Annual Great Steamboat Race Party -
Wednesday, May 1, 2013

The Mudd Sisters 9th Annual Great Steamboat Race Party to benefit the Alzheimer's Association was a huge success!

Over 800 guests joined us and the sisters to raise $31,000 - a new record!

We are grateful to everyone who attended for your generous support and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

 

 

A Toast to Remember - Saturday, May 18, 2013

Join us at Cedar Creek Vineyards in Somerset, KY from 5-7pm on Saturday, May 18 to raise awareness and money to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Tickets will include a wine tasting, appetizers, and live entertainment provided by Sydney Cubit (an extremely talented 15 year old Lexington native). There will also be silent auctions and photography in the vineyard available.

The Original Creative Festival - Thursday-Saturday, June 13-15, 2013

The Original Creative Festival, Quit, Sew & Fiber Art Expo will include a special quilt art exhibit; a touring exhibit of quilts about Alzheimer's called "Alzheimer's Illustrated: From Heartbreak to Hope." This event will be held June 13-15 at the Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Rd, Sharonville, OH.

Nineteen quilting celebrities are donating 15" x 15" wall quilts for an online auction benefiting the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI). The auction will be held November 1-10 during National Alzheimer's Awareness Month. All profits will fund research.
