The Long Island Alzheimer's Disease Assistance Center (LI-ADAC) is part of an interactive network of nine centers located throughout New York State, funded by a New York State legislative grant to provide diagnostic, educational, community referral and care planning services to patients with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia and their families. Team assessment by a dually trained Psychiatrist and Neurologist and a Gerontologist is provided in the Memory Disorders Clinic in the Psychiatry Outpatient Department, University Hospital, Stony Brook.
