The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk,^® nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is the nation's largest event to raise awarenes and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and reserch - and it calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer's.  Our national signature event brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. 2008 Louisiana Memory Walks raised nearly $435,000 for the Alzheimer's Association.  Many thanks to the hundreds of Louisiana champions who moved our cause forward toward greater understanding, better treatments and a cure, and made 2008 a successful Memory Walk year!  We look forward to even bigger and better Memory Walks in 2009.
