The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk,® nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is the nation's largest event to raise awarenes and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and reserch - and it calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer's. Our national signature event brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Louisiana Memory Walks met goal and raised nearly $400,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. Many thanks to the hundreds of Louisiana champions who moved our cause forward toward greater understaning, better treatments and a cure, and made 2007 a successful year!
