Volunteer Early Stage Support Group Facilitator
The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking to engage a volunteer support group facilitator to effectively facilitate support groups for people with early stage dementia and their care partners. This is a dual support group: one for people with dementia and the other for their care partners.
The candidate should: be a licensed nurse or social worker who has had experience in caring for people with dementia and their care partners; have knowledge of the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias; and have some expertise in group dynamics.
