Candle Light Vigil
For those we love who have been touched by Alzheimer's disease
August 17th, 2008, 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Founder’s Plaza
In case of rain, participants will be directed to Patriot Hall.
Join us as we honor loved ones lost and those living with Alzheimer’s disease at a special candle lighting ceremony to champion the cause.
Hear local support group participants share their stories and come together to advocate for increased research funding in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Refreshments will be provided. People with dementia, caregivers, and family members of all ages are welcome to participate.

Gearing Up for Memory Walk 2008!

By registering now, you can get an early start on your fundraising by hosting a theme party to raise funds, or organize car washes, bake sales, etc. throughout the spring and summer months.
Once you are registered, you w ill receive a welcome kit with information about the Walk and tips on how to fundraise.
In October, Walks will be held in Harford County, Howard County, Towson, Frederick, Cumberland and Salisbury. Walkers are already registering to get a jump on their fundraising and to join the hundreds of others who will gather together at each of the six Walks.

Registration begins at 10:30 am, followed by lunch at 11:00 am.
After the 18-hole tournament, players are invited to stay for cocktails, dinner, an auction and an awards program.
