Make These Exciting Events Part of Your Summer Plans!

2007 promises to be an exciting year for chapter events! For the first time, the chapter is partnering with the Tri-County Office on Aging to sponsor a charity golf outing in Lansing. This new outing will be followed in July by our long-standing Ann Arbor golf outing at the University of Michigan golf course. These special summer events, combined with our 10 Memory Walks in September and October, offer the perfect opportunity for you and your family to get involved in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Mark these important dates on your calendar and call today to register – your support makes all the difference.

Charity Golf Outings

Attention all golfers! Here’s your opportunity to enjoy two great days of golf and help those affected by Alzheimer’s. Register today for our Lansing Charity Golf Outing scheduled for June 14, 2007, at Forest Akers West Golf Course at Michigan State University and/or the Ann Arbor Charity Golf Outing on July 16, 2007, at the University of Michigan golf course. Memory Walk 2007-- We’re on the MOVE to End Alzheimer’s

Step forward for your community by taking part in Memory Walk 2007, the nation’s No. 1 fund-raiser to help people battling Alzheimer’s disease. You’ll join thousands of family members, caregivers, advocates, and community and corporate leaders in raising funds to help provide research, support and education for those living with the disease, their families and caregivers.

The chapter will host walks in 10 cities this fall; we encourage you to participate by walking as an individual, organizing a team, joining a team, soliciting online Walk donations through your own Web page, pledging support to a walker, or volunteering to help the day of the Walk. Walkers turning in the most money will be eligible for great prizes; all walkers turning in $75 or more on Walk day will receive an official Memory Walk 2007 T-shirt.

Now is the time to contribute to Alzheimer care and research. We are closer than ever to being able to slow progression of Alzheimer’s and improve the lives of those living with the disease. Every contribution brings us one step closer. Click here to find our how you can participate in Memory Walk 2007 or call 1.800.272.3900. Your support makes all the difference. Please join us!
