The Alzheimer's Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter dedicates donations to providing information, support, programming and services for the 44,000 people in our 23-county service area who live with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and their family members and caregivers.

We offer a wealth of community programs and services including our 24-hour Helpline (1.800.272.3900); support groups as a confidential forum for people to share concerns and receive support; educational programs and workshops for those affected by Alzheimer's, the public and health professionals; and Safe Return® to help find people with memory problems who wander and become lost. We also advocate for quality dementia care and services, and funding for public programs serving people with dementia and funding to accelerate the pace of promising research.

Each year, more than 90 percent of our operating support comes from charitable gifts. Without this support, we would be unable to provide critical services to so many in our community. Thank you for your support and for helping us serve countless families today while we work to achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease.
