Jefferson City Chicken Dinner and Auction
The annual Chicken Dinner and Auction on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Eagles Club in Jefferson City was a great success. Tasty fried chicken dinners and a wealth of exciting auction items bring participants back year after year. The event raised over $7,000 for the Alzheimer's Association Mid-Missouri Chapter! Forget Me Not Ball
Hosted by the La Roca Dance Studio of Osage Beach, the premier Forget Me Not Ball was a great success. Including a formal dinner, dancing and entertainment, the night was filled with delicious cuisine and beautiful performances. Stay tuned for Forget Me Not Ball 2010! Men's Group donates TV
Together, the group raised the funds within a month to purchase a new LG 47” HDTV and DVD/VCR combo for the Alzheimer’s Association Mid-Missouri Chapter’s office. Staff members now use the technology for educational and Board presentations. “The new system is wonderful. We’re delighted to work with such a caring group of gentlemen,” said Linda Newkirk, Executive Director.
“We’d do anything Pam asked us,” said Tracy Robb, group participant. “I knew everyone in this group would chip in.”
Ultramarathon runner dedicates each step to mom

Chili Lunch and Bake Sale Brings in Big Bucks!
The dedicated employees of Legends Bank in Linn raised funds to support those with Alzheimer's disease and their families through a chili lunch and bake sale. The Catholic Knights, Linn branch 1152, also matched part of the funds raised by Legends Bank bringing the total contribution to $1,055!
