Start a team with a Team Captain Kit!

Forming a team for the Memory Walk® can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer's. Together, as a team, you are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone. Being a team captain is fun and a great way to build team spirit at work or with friends and family.

  • Matching Gifts: Many organizations have a program where they match up a certain amount of money that their employees contribute to a cause. Simply check with your human resources department to obtain a matching gift form or to ask about participation in the program.

Volunteering

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking fun, energetic, and dedicated committee members to help grow Memory Walk participation in your area.  Committee volunteers are needed in each Memory Walk area. If you are committed to supporting Memory Walk and improving services for people with dementia, we need you!  A variety of roles are available including assistance with logistics, promotions and publicity, securing corporate sponsors, and recruiting teams and walkers.  Whether you are a seasoned walker or new to the event, please contact our office at 573.443.8665 or midmoinfo@alz.org more information.  Don’t let this chance to get on the MOVE with Memory Walk pass you by.
