Support Groups
Designed for loved ones and friends of those with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
It's very beneficial for family members and caregivers involved with caring for an individual with Alzheimer's disease to attend Coping/Support Group meetings. By attending meetings you will feel less alone and learn that others share in your feelings, frustrations and concerns. The listed groups are general groups for all caregivers of an individual with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders unless otherwise noted. Sarah Care - Caregiver's Support Group with Activities for Your Loved One – 3rd Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., 3615 N 129th St. This group is especially for caregivers of individuals with dementia who cannot stay alone. Adult day services are provided on-site.
Fellas, Fun & Friendships - 3rd Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., Midlands Chapter office at 1941 South 42 Street, Suite 205. This men’s group offers lunch at a reduced rate.
