The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.
Held on or near the summer solstice each year, this event calls on participants to raise funds and awareness to advance the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association by coming together to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing dementia with a day of activity. When you volunteer at the Alzheimer’s Association, your company may make a financial contribution on behalf of the time you spend helping us. With company volunteer grants programs, you could earn $100 to $1000+ in grants for the Alzheimer’s Association! If your company runs a Community Health Charities Minnesota (CHCM) or United Way campaign, you may designate your gift to the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota. Just indicate on your United Way or CHCM pledge form that you’d like your gift to go to the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota.
