The Montana Chapter offers several educational programs for families and individuals facing Alzheimer’s, as well as community members. Most of these programs, described below, are free of charge.
Alzheimer's Disease: Reducing Your Risk
This presentation varies in length from 15 to 30 minutes and is perfect for luncheon meetings for your community and social organizations. The presentation includes handouts on the Ten Warning Signs of Alzheimer's disease and How to Maintain Your Brain covers the following topics:
• What is Alzheimer’s disease
• What are the risks
• How to reduce risks
• The burden of care giving
• The services of the Alzheimer’s Association Montana Chapter

Powerful Tools For Caregivers
Class Leader Training - An extensive and interactive three-day program led by a team of Master Trainers.
Training includes:
- Scripted curriculum for all classes
- Video, audio tape and participant's guide, Caregiver Helpbook
- Information on marketing in Montana
- Lunch meals
- Licensing fee
Once trained, Class leaders will be prepared to teach groups of 10-15 caregivers the necessary self-care skills outlined by the program.

Non-Violent Intervention
