Athletes across the region and the country will be in our area to test their endurance while raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease. 

In 2008, the National Capital Area Chapter will have 3 events to test your endurance:

• Tour de Canal (September 6 - 7, 2008) - a weekend of bike riding on the C & O Canal.  You can chose between the 20-mile Memory Ride, the two-day 100-mile ride or the two-day 184-mile ride along the full length of the Canal!
• Baltimore Running Festival (October 11, 2008) - featuring both a full marathon and a half-marathon, there's something for every runner!
• 33rd Annual Marine Corps Marathon (October 26, 2008) - "The People's Marathon" takes runners on a tour of our nation's capital.  Join more than 35,000 marathoners in this world-class event!

The Chapter offers professional training for all of these events starting in April 2008.
