The Chairman's Leadership Award

The Chairman’s Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have affected change on a national scale to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s and improve the lives of those affected by the disease.

The Sargent and Eunice Shriver Profiles in Dignity Award

The Sargent and Eunice Shriver Profiles in Dignity Award pays tribute to the spirit of compassion and generosity emblematic of the Shrivers, who have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of others.  This award honors an individual, organization or company whose actions have promoted greater understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and its effects on diagnosed individuals, families and caregivers.

The Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Award

In 1995, President and Mrs. Reagan joined forces with the Alzheimer’s Association to focus on initiatives dedicated to accelerating progress in Alzheimer research.  The Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Award, which honors leading researchers working at the forefront to discover an effective treatment for Alzheimer’s, pays tribute to President and Mrs. Reagan for their courage and leadership in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
