Focusing on Your Workforce and the Bottom Line:
Baby Boomers are a sizeable percentage of our workforce today and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.  Many American workers have approached (or are approaching) the age at which focusing on brain health is becoming a vital part of maintaining health and staying sharp in the office.

Human resource professionals seek to find programs that focus on employee health and wellness in an effort to increase employee production and reduce health care costs.  We've all heard about being heart healthy, maintaining a balanced diet and getting regular exercise, but there is another topic that must be explored:
Brain Health.

Focusing on Brain Health can help your employees continue to succeed as they age.  As the Baby Boomers are aging, exercising their minds is essential for keeping them alert, focused, and "on the ball", and retaining them in the workforce.

Hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, this workshop presented by Dr. John Docherty of Cornell University and Medicl Director of Brain Resource focused on the impact brain health has in the workplace, screening and shaping behavioral risk and performance, and brain based peak performance.  In addition, attendees learned about signs and symptoms of brain health issues.
