Memorial DonationThis type of gift is made in memory of a deceased family member, friend, neighbor, colleague, etc., often in lieu of flowers for a funeral service, an anniversary of the individual's passing or other special times of remembrance. Memorial donations may be made by check or credit card (phone or online). Be sure to provide the name of the person in remembrance. If you include the individual's main family contact name and address, we will let them know you have made a donation in memory of their loved one, only sharing your name and address, but not the donation amount. Tribute DonationHonor special people or occasions (birthdays, anniversaries or holiday, etc.) with a designated gift. Join the growing number of caring adults and children who are incorporating philanthropy into their weddings, graduations, bar/bat mitzvahs and other special occasions by asking friends, in lieu of gifts, to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of gifts. We can help you with ideas on creative gift-giving options. Thank you for supporting your Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter. Together we can make a difference and move closer to a cure! |
