Memorial Donation

Sadly, we see every day the tragic impact of Alzheimer’s disease on families.  We are grateful for your interest in directing donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of your loved one.

Your donation and the donations of others, continue to fund research to find a cure to end this disease and support our full mission of a world without Alzheimer’s.  The Alzheimer’s Association has funded more than $200 million in research since 1982 and continues to fund significant and important research every year.

To make a Memorial Donation, follow instructions for “general donation” above to contribute by check or to make a credit card donation by phone or online.  Please provide the name of the person you are remembering with this gift.  If you also provide a name and address we will let that person know you have made a donation in memory of their loved one.  Naturally, we will share your name but not the specific amount of your contribution.

Tribute Donation

Honor special people or occasions with your gift.  Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or holiday with a designated gift, or ask your friends to do so on your behalf.  Join the growing number of caring adults and children who are incorporating philanthropy into their weddings, graduations, bar/bat mitzvahs, and many other special occasions, asking friends, in lieu of gifts, to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.

We can help you with ideas on many creative gift-giving options.  For more information, or to make a donation, contact Mary McMahon at mary.mcmahon@alz.org or at 703.766.9016.

Vehicle Donation

If you have a car, motor home, or any other vehicle that you are thinking of trading in or selling, consider donating it to the Alzheimer's Association Donate a Car Program.  When your vehicle is sold, the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association to help fund research and enhance the lives of all those affected by the disease.  You may also be able to deduct the fair market value of your vehicle as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes.

We have partnered with Car Program LLC, which accepts most vehicles, including cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RVs. The donation process is easy online or by phone.
