Walk to End Alzheimer's®

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.  Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.  Join us today!

Where: Warner Chamber at the Capitol building

11:00am - Proclamation signings in Warner Chamber
11:25am - Ribbon tying at the Respite Tree on the Capitol lawn (weather permitting)
11:35-1:00 pm - Complimentary lunch and presentation provided by the Nebraska Caregiver Coalition for family caregivers, health care professionals and elected officials
                        Presenter - Dr. Julie Masters, Professor and Chair of the Department of Gerontology University.

November is National Hospice and Palliative Care, National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness, National Family Caregivers, National Homecare, National Respite Awareness Month.  Come celebrate families and professionals who care for loved ones of all ages with chronic conditions.  This day of celebration will include proclamation signings and recognizing awareness of Alzheimer's Disease; the importance of our Family Caregivers; Hospice and Palliative Care; Home Care; and Respite.

Space is limited!  RSVP or fax must be received by Friday, November 14, 2014.  Call or text to Chris at 402-881-6140,  or fax/email completed form to 402-932-0767 / with names and numbers of people attending.

            Lincoln, NE

Save the date for this fun and exciting event which helps raise thousands of dollars for Alzheimer's care, support and research.  This years theme is sure to be a hit as Mardi Gras comes to Lincoln!  The evening will feature delicious culinary creations, wine and beer sampling and the always popular live and silent auctions and a best mask contest.  Tickets are $125 per person, an additional $25 will get you into the after party.  Tickets can be purchased in person at the Lincoln office or over the phone at 402.420.2540.  Tickets will be available to purchase online soon!  Be sure to check back for more information.

Blondes vs. Brunettes

Come join us for our first ever Blondes vs. Brunette event!  This volunteer-driven event is for women that brings the passion and spirit of young community leaders together to support the Alzheimer's Association.  The event concept is organized around a flag football game in which the two participating teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes.
