2015 Gala: Mardi Gras Masquerade an enjoyable evening

We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported us at the 2015 Gala: Mardi Gras Masquerade.  With your help we were able to raise over $80,000 to help support our mission and vision.  It was an enjoyable evening for all that attended.  If you would like to check out the photos from fotobrations, you can visit the link by clicking here.



 

Still Alice opens this weekend in Lincoln and Omaha!

The film tells the story of Alice Howland, a renowned linguistics professor, mother and wife who is diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer's  It's our hope that "Still Alice" brings further awareness to Alzheimer's and breaks the stigma association with the disease.

Blondes vs. Brunettes

Come join us for our first ever Blondes vs. Brunette event!  This volunteer-driven event is for women that brings the passion and spirit of young community leaders together to support the Alzheimer's Association.  The event concept is organized around a flag football game in which the two participating teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes.

The Longest Day
June 21, 2015

On June 21, from sunrise to sunset, teams across the world will put their passion to good work, raising funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association.  Held annually on the summer solstice, The Longest Day is about people doing what they love to honor the strength, heart and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's disease.

Join up with Friends!
The Longest Day is a team effort with friends, family and co-workers working together for a good cause - and a good time.

Do what you love
Select an activity you love and have your friends and family join in!  You can be as creative as you like, you are only limited by your imagination.

Growing Hope Gala

We invite you to join us July 17th for our Growing Hope Gala, a theme which directly relates to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease.  The Gala helps raise funds to support research, raise awareness and address the needs of Americans living with the disease and their caregivers.  The evening includes cocktails at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m. Also included will be the ever favorite silent and live auctions.  For more information, contact Jen at 402.502.4301 or jbeck@alz.org
