Alzheimer’s Day at the Legislature  

Thursday, January 19, 2017.  The State Capitol Building aka “The Roundhouse”, Santa Fe.  A day of advocacy and awareness-building with New Mexico’s policy-makers. 9am-12pm. Concerned citizens are invited to attend the press conference at 11am.

7th Annual Dancing Stars Gala

Saturday, April 22, 2017, Sandia Resort & Casino. Albuquerque. An evening of fine dining and competitive dancing to raise funds for Alzheimer’s disease. Time 5pm-10:30pm.

6th Annual Professional Conference.

The Longest Day

STATEWIDE SAVVY CAREGIVER SCHEDULE

NEW! January - June 2017 Savvy Class Listing

The Savvy Caregiver is an multi-session educational program for families and caregivers of those with memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The Savvy Caregiver course meets once a week for seven consecutive weeks.  Each class is two hours in length.  Class size is limited to 15 participants. To register or for more information, call (505) 266-4473. STATEWIDE EDUCATIONAL CLASS SCHEDULES

Our single-session Education Programs are designed primarily for non-professional or family caregivers who are seeking helpful knowledge and care management skills so that they might better understand how to care for their loved-ones.  From "The Basics of Alzheimer's Disease" to "Know the 10 Warning Signs" to "Legal Issues for Caregivers" (and many more), each provides an opportunity to improve one's knowledge base and skill level; and also learn about support resources available in the area.  To register or for more information, call (505) 266-4473.  FREE!
