24/7 Helpline Assistance - 1.800.272.3900

Our toll-free statewide helpline offers assistance and support to callers for help with the resolution of caregiving issues, help in obtaining professional referrals or help accessing community resources. The helpline is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Support Groups
Caregiver Support Groups are facilitated by trained and experienced volunteers and healthcare professionals.  Support Groups provide an outlet for caregivers to share successful caregiving techniques, listen, and talk to others experiencing the same joys and demands of caregiving for someone with Alzheimer's disease.

Care Consultations
Our trained staff is ready and available to meet with you and your family for a care consultations. 

Respite Care Financial Assistance
Caregiving for someone with Alzheimer's diseaease is a 24-hour a day job and can become overwhelming for the caregiver.  The Respite Care Financial Assistance program provides financial assistance for the respite care of a patient with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.  With the voucher program, caregivers have the option of employing professional caregiver services or hiring a friend, neighbor or relative to stay with the person with Alzheimer's disease while the caregiver takes a much needed break.

Any primary caregiver who is caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease in their home may qualify for the program.  For more information contact our Albuquerque office at 505.266.4473 or click here to download an application and return it to:

Savvy Caregiver

This is an educational program for families and caregivers of those with memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.  The Savvy Caregiver course meets once a week for seven consecutive weeks.  Each class is two hours in length.  Class size is limited to 15 participants. For more information, or to be placed on the waiting list for future classes, please call 505.266.4473

Veteran's Savvy Caregiver

This 3 week course held in a classroom setting enables caregivers caring for a veteran with Alzheimer’s or a veteran caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s to develop a sense of control with practical tools and skills for caregiving. Each class is four hours in length. Class size is limited to 15 particpants.  For more information, or to be placed on the waiting list for future classes, please call 505.266.4473
